Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho to choose between Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain for Barcelona clash

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has ruled out the possibility of playing both Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain in Saturday’s Clasico against Barcelona.
The striking duo have been in fine form so far this season, with Benzema having notched seven times in 12 Liga games, while Higuain has proven even more prolific, racking up 12 goals in 14 appearances.
However, even though the pair played well alongside each other in last month’s Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb, Mourinho will resist the temptation to start both at the Santiago Bernabeu this weekend.
"No, I’m not going to play them [both]," he told AS. "There will be Cristiano [Ronaldo] and [Angel] Di Maria, and then [either] Benzema or Higuain."
Madrid go into the crunch clash on a 15-game winning streak in all competitions and with a three-point advantage over Barca in the league, having played one match less than their great rivals.
However, Mourinho insists that form counts for nothing in the Clasico, arguing: "What has happened so far does not matter; it only matters what happens in those 90 minutes."
