Real Madrid's Heinze: Barcelona knew how to raise their game

Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze admits they had no answer to Barcelona's superiority in Saturday's 6-2 thrashing.

"Everytime we scored, everytime it looked like we were going to get back into the game, they raised their level and scored themselves," said Heinze.

"When we tried to lift our heads, they crushed us."

"We have to recognise their superiority. It's very easy to say that we played a lousy game."
