Real Madrid's Guti knows of Arsenal interest

Real Madrid striker Jose Guti says he knows that Arsenal are interested in him.

The Gunners posted a scout to watch Guti in a Spanish Cup tie last week and speculation is rife that he is ready to quit the European champs after seeing little first team action in recent months.

He told Marca, "Yes, I know about it (Arsenal's interest). It is something interesting and they're one of the best clubs in Europe."

"But I insist my priority is Madrid. I am a madridista and I have already said this."

Guti also said, "Yes, I am frustrated."

"I need to play. In the end, it will be necessary for me to explore the best option at the end of the season."
