Real Madrid's Guti: I'm tired of getting kicked

Real Madrid midfielder Guti admits his "attitude was wrong" after he was sent-off in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Murcia.

Guti was shown a red card for lashing out and he said: "I've thought about it a lot. I know my attitude was wrong. I lost my temper and I ask the fans, the coach and my teammates to forgive me."

"I am a hot-blooded player and always try to do my best so Real Madrid wins. I was provoked and I shouldn't have hit out."

"I know that it is not an excuse and what I am going to say is no justification. But sometimes you get tired of being the one that receives all the kicks and all the blows, when no-one does anything about it. I am tired of that."

"The tackle that I received was not the first bad one I had without the player getting a yellow card and at such a moment, you can understand why something can happen."
