Real Madrid's Guti: Atletico move was non-starter

Real Madrid midfielder Guti admits talk of a move to city rivals Atletico last summer was a non-starter.

Guti was linked with Atletico, but he told AS: "I would never consider Atletico. And that's not being disrespectful to them."

"It would just be very complicated to see me in an Atletico shirt. I want to play out my career at Real Madrid."

"There were only rumours about Atletico. I made it very clear that I was a Madridista."
