Real Madrid's Geremi urges Middlesbrough not to give up

Real Madrid midfielder Geremi has urged Middlesbrough not to give up on signing him to a permanent deal.

The Cameroon international has told Boro officials that his first-choice for next season is Teesside and is set for crunch talks with Real over his future.

Boro have had one £3 million offer rejected and Real have so far refused to even meet with the Premiership club to discuss Geremi's situation.
