Real Madrid's Figo plays down Chelsea, Man Utd interest

On holiday in Dubai, Real Madrid ace Luis Figo has played down reports of a summer move to the Premiership.

Chelsea and Manchester United have reportedly made contact with the Portuguese star, but he said yesterday: "Officially, I don't know anything about it. But I have read about the news in many reports."

"What I can say is that I am happy at Real Madrid and my contract doesn't expire until 2006."

Figo is a guest of UAE giants Al-Ain and added, "I haven't discarded the possibility of finishing my career here with Al-Ain."
