Real Madrid's Figo: Liverpool, Man Utd appeal to me

Real Madrid wing ace Luis Figo wants a move to Manchester United or Liverpool after being granted a free transfer yesterday.
 
Real have told the Portuguese midfield Galactico, 32, he can leave for a nominal fee after falling out of favour with coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo.

Figo has been kept out of the Real team by David Beckham and now admits he would fancy a move to the England skipper's old club United or European champions Liverpool.

Yet UEFA Cup hopefuls Bolton and Middlesbrough are more likely to bid.

Figo said: "I have always said the Premiership is a competition I would like to play in one day."

"I have been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United and I think both of those clubs are fantastic."
