Real Madrid's Figo agrees Liverpool terms

Real Madrid winger Luis Figo has agreed terms with Liverpool over a one-year contract.
 
But the deal is threatening not to happen as Real insist on a £2 million transfer fee for the Portugal international.

The former Barcelona ace is fuming over Real's stance. And Liverpool are angry as they thought Figo was in the bag after agreeing personal terms.

Figo initially wanted £90,000 a week but lowered his demands because he wants to finish his career in the Premiership.

Now he must hope Real will climb down and let him leave on a free.

Liverpool will ditch the deal altogether if they have to pay the Spanish club a fee.
