Real Madrid's De la Red: I'm ready for whatever docs decide

Real Madrid midfielder Ruben de la Red is eager to know if he will play again.

De la Red remains on Real's books, but is not training on doctor's advice after collapsing in last season's Copa del Rey clash with Real Union.

"I'm not afraid, I am eager to know whether or not I can ever play again. They have enough information, name, diagnosis to know if I am treatable or not. I know the chances I have to play are small, " said De la Red.

The midfielder also admitted he'd stopped regularly visiting the Valdebebas training HQ.

"It was no good for me," he explained. "It's hard, but time heals everything. My family helps me a lot."
