Real Madrid's Celades joins Bordeaux on loan

Real Madrid midfielder Albert Celades has joined Girondins Bordeaux on a one-year loan, the French league club said on Tuesday.

Celades, 27, has won four caps for Spain and has played for Barcelona, Celta Vigo and Real.

Bordeaux were looking for a midfielder after Russian Alexei Smertin decided to return home and French under-21 international Camel Meriem was loaned to Olympique Marseille.
