Real Madrid's Casillas picks up a cool £650,000 bonus

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas added a cool £650,000 to his salary after playing in Saturday's 5-1 demolition of Alaves.

The bonus is part of a new payment scheme introduced by Real president Florentino Perez.

Casillas had written into his contract that if he completed a set number of games last season and also this season then he would receive the bonus.

The performance-based scheme is also part of Jose Guti and Diego Pavon's deals.

Indeed, everytime Pavon completes 45 minutes of a first team game he receives an extra £4,000.
