Real Madrid's Butragueno: We won't go for Inter Milan star Adriano

Real Madrid vice-president Emilio Butragueno has told Italian reporters that they're not intending to bid for Inter Milan star Adriano at the end of this season.

Butragueno says Real believe Adriano still has some room for development before they consider going for the Brazilian powerhouse.

"We will not be making any bid to take Adriano," said the Real chief. "He is a great player, but still a very young person. And his room for improvement is enormous."

"At the same time there is an optimal relationship with Inter and we want to respect that. What has been written is not true."
