Real Madrid's Beckham to star with Scooby-Doo

Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham will star with Scooby-Doo in a commercial for Adidas.

The advertisement will be released throughout Europe on October 1 and Beckham said: "I like the idea of working with a legendary cartoon character that my children love to watch."

Adidas spokesman Uli Beckher said they decided on using Scooby-Doo for "adding a great alternative image", while Beckham was being used in the ad to "maintain the highest level of sports credibility".
