Real Madrid's Beckham rubbishes Man Utd, Arsenal rumours

Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham has rubbished reports linking him with a return to the Premiership.

"Every day there are rumours like this, that I am going to London or Manchester, but it is something that has been said since the first day I signed," he said.
 
"I am very happy in Real Madrid and I want to end my career here. I want to stay all the time the club wants me too."

One of the reasons Beckham is so happy at Madrid is the presence of coach Wanderley Luxemburgo, who took over in the Bernabeu just before the New Year.

Luxemburgo has returned Beckham to the right of midfield and, although Beckham always insisted he enjoyed playing in the centre, he now admits the wing is where he does his best work.

"I am much more comfortable in the position Luxemburgo puts me in, because I feel more comfortable on the wing than in the middle, although if I have to play there, I don't mind, as I have shown," he said.

"I like Luxemburgo as a coach and a person and I hope he stays at Real Madrid because he is very good for the team and the players as he makes us work very hard and he knows what he wants from every one of us."

"I am not used to winning nothing. It is the first time in my career that I have been two years without winning a title."

"It is something that makes the team as sad as I am and although I am very happy here, I want to win."
