Real Madrid's Beckham: I'll be fit for Atletico Madrid

David Beckham insists he won't let a twisted ankle keep him out of next week's Madrid derby.

Real Madrid ace Beckham injured his ankle in yesterday's 1-1 draw with Osasuna and admits he is desperate to be fit for the clash with Atletico Madrid.

"Sunday we will see what sort of ankle twist it is," said Beckham.

"It has been a very difficult game because in this Liga any rival is complicated. They started off very well. The field was not the best one to play on, but after all that was said before the game it wasn't too bad."

"I am wishing to play the game against Atletico, I am sure that it will be a great experience and I do not want to miss it."
