Real Madrid's Beckham hits back at Depor's Argies

Real Madrid ace David Beckham has hit back at Deportivo La Coruna's Argies Pedro Duscher and Lionel Scaloni.

Both players have been attacking Beckham through the media since the England skipper's on-field bust-up with Scaloni.

"If they want to make comments like that, they are just covering their backs," Becks told the News of the World.

"Of course, it is not true. It angers me this sort of offensive behavior, especially after receiving many kicks on the field."

"It does not bother me if they need to take things from the pitch and comment in the papers. I have things more important to worry to about."

He added, "Perhaps my fame attracts these types of stories. As soon as somebody says something about me, people write it."

"With respect to what Scaloni said about the return game at the Riazor, we will see when we play against Depor. It is going to be a hard game."
