Real Madrid's Beckham demands FA stop "silliness"

England skipper and Real Madrid star David Beckham has demanded the FA sort themselves out and cut out the "silliness" in regards to selection policy.

"Hopefully this week's out of the way and it won't happen again," Beckham said after last night's 3-2 defeat by Denmark.

"We said this last time, and it happened again. It's important we get it sorted in a manner where the players are happy and the FA are happy and we don't have any of this silliness."

"We want a bit of fairness more than anything. That's what we have asked the FA for and we hope they deliver it. But of course we want some input. Fundamentally we want a player to remain in the squad until they are proved guilty."

"In all walks of life people are innocent until proved guilty and that's what we want with the England team."
