Real Madrid rival Chelsea for Parma No1 Frey

Real Madrid and Chelsea are being linked with Parma No1 Sebastien Frey.

French press reports are suggesting Frey is under consideration by new Real trainer Jose Antonio Camacho, who isn't convinced that Iker Casillas can stay on top of his game for an entire season.

Camacho's first-choice is Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon, but accepts that it's unlikely the Turin club will be prepared to part with the Italian international.

Instead, Camacho has suggested Frey in talks with Real directors. The 24 year-old is available for around £4 million.

Only yesterday Frey was quizzed about fresh speculation linking him with Chelsea: "There has been two contacts with Chelsea. But it is too soon to say that I have signed with them."
