The Whites contest an encounter against the invited opponent at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The 2018 edition will be the 39th time that the Bernabeu Trophy will be held.
Real Madrid will host AC Milan in the Bernabeu Trophy this year. The Italian giants will play the match against Europe’s reigning champions on the 11th of August.
This match will be held to mark the 60th anniversary of Real Madrid’s third European Cup victory. They got the better of AC Milan in 1958.
The San Siro outfit has participated in the Bernabeu Trophy on three occasions. This season will be their fourth invitation. Most recently, they played the competition in 1999 when they lost 4-2.
In 1988 and 1990, they were victorious and took the trophy home. They will be hoping to add a third Bernabeu Trophy to their collection.
