Real Madrid reveal £8M Middlesbrough offer for Geremi

Real Madrid sports chief Jorge Valdano has revealed Middlesbrough have tabled an £8 million offer for Geremi.

The Cameroon international is due to return from his loan with Boro at the end of the season.

Valdano confirmed: "£8 million is as much as Boro can afford but it does not meet our expectation."

"As things stand we expect to have Geremi back with us for the start of next season."
