Real Madrid reject AC Milan "cash" for Ronaldo

Real Madrid are proving tough negotiators for AC Milan over striker Ronaldo.
 
Milan directors Ariedo Braida and Adriano Galliani were guests of Real president Ramon Calderon at last night's Bernabeu Trophy clash with Anderlecht.

Real sports director Predrag Mijatovic met with the pair and informed them there were two options to sign Ronaldo: a deal involving Kaka or £20 million cash.

Milan won't consider allowing Kaka to move to Real, while Calderon fired a blunt warning last night: "We do not need money, Milan already knows this."

"From now on they will have to speak about another thing if they want to take Ronaldo."

He continued: "Real Madrid does not want to sell Ronaldo. In principle he is not for sale, but we must listen to what the player wants to do. It is certain that he has a very attractive offer and now we must decide."
