Real Madrid refuse to comment on Chelsea, Arsenal push for Beckham

Real Madrid are refusing to comment publicly on reports in yesterday's press that David Beckham has decided to return to the Premiership.

Arsenal and Chelsea are the clubs chasing the England skipper, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger declaring his interest last night.

A Real Madrid spokesman told BBC Sport: "We don't have any comment to make because there are lots of stories about our players' futures at this time."

"We do not say anything until the club give us official confirmation of deals, so we will not be commenting."
