Real Madrid have reportedly redeemed their all debts. The contract signed with the committee for construction of the mayor's office of Madrid, assumes to redeem the 63 billion pesetas (331 million dollars) debt of the club.

Consequently, in one and a half years Royal Club chairman Florentino Perez managed to achieve what Ramon Mendoza and Lorenzo Sanz didn't in their time.
At the meeting with mass media representatives, Perez said: "The fact that our club will not worry about the financial shock anymore is the most important. Real had a lot of debts and this was a heavy burden for the club. At present Real don't have any debts."
