Real Madrid receive positive feedback from Kaka reps

Real Madrid have made fresh contact with the representatives of AC Milan midfield ace Kaka.
 
Sources close to the talks say Kaka's father, Bosco Leite, has spoken with Real Madrid directors Franco Baldini and Pedja Mijatovic about an end of season deal and the response has been positive.

"Kaka was never an election topic," insisted a source today. "And our last conversation with the boy's entourage suggests to us that he is not going to let another chance slip of playing in Madrid."

Real directors are convinced Milan's precarious league position could see Kaka accept a move to Madrid. The Brazilian committed to a new deal after talks with vice-president Adriano Galliani at the beginning of the season, but the Italian giants' Calciopoli points penalty and struggles this season has the player concerned.

If Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League this season the door could be opened to Real president Ramon Calderon securing the 24 year-old next summer.

"We promised at the start of the season that we would bring Kaka to Madrid," Calderon recently said, "and we are not going to stop until that is achieved."
