Real Madrid receive firm offers for Solari

Real Madrid have received firm offers for Argentina international Santiago Solari after his proposed move to Inter Milan, as part of the Ronaldo deal, fell through.

Real needed to furnish the Italians with either a player or cash of 10 million euros as part of the deal which saw them cough up 35 million euros to Inter for Brazil's World Cup hero in the summer.

Solari, a midfielder valued between 10 and 15 million euros, however said he did not want to join the Italian giants.

Real general manager Jorge Valdano said they were now looking into other bids. "We have received other offers," said Valdano but he did not give further details.

Spanish media reports earlier this year suggested Manchester United, Arsenal, AC Milan, Paris Saint Germain, Marseille and Bayer Leverkusen were interested in the 26-year-old.
