Real Madrid quickly reject Inter claims over Ronaldo installments

Real Madrid have quickly moved to reject Inter Milan claims that they have fallen behind on Ronaldo's transfer payment.

Inter president Massimo Moratti claimed yesterday that Real had failed to pay the first installment of the Brazilian's fee.

But Real quickly denied the claim, producing evidence that they have kept up with the agreed installments.

It was decided that Real would pay £5 million in the first year over four quarterly payments. Real paid the first term on September 15 and the second is due on December 15.

Real president Florentino Perez will speak with Moratti today to clear the matter up.
