Real Madrid put Makelele, Geremi talks on hold with Man Utd

Real Madrid will not enter any new talks over David Beckham until the final day of the season.

Marca says Real president Florentino Perez knows United are keen to take Geremi and Claude Makelele to Old Trafford, but has suspended all negotiations until the title and Champions League campaigns are decided.

It's also been claimed that Beckham's representatives have stayed in contact with Real, despite their official denial last week.
