Real Madrid push McManaman to Blackburn, Man City

Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City have both made fresh enquiries regarding Real Madrid's Steve McManaman.

It's reported that Real have told McManaman he will be forced to sit out the final year of his contract if he does not accept a move back to the Premiership.

Real intend not to register the 31 year-old as one of their 24 players for the coming season.
