Real Madrid press for Seitaridis to teach Porto lesson

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has instructed his club's agents to make contact with Panathinaikos fullback Giorgis Seitaridis.

Perez's instructions are: if it can happen, sign Seitaridis.

Though the Greek international has an agreement with Porto, which has also committed £2.5 million to Panathinaikos for the fullback, no contract has been signed and the 22 year-old is now sure of Real's interest courtesy of Perez's aggressive approach.

The Real supremo is not only trying to trump Porto for Seitaridis to help new coach Jose Antonio Camacho's squad building, he is also planning to teach Porto president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa a lesson.

Perez is furious with Da Costa over his behaviour during talks over the transfer of Porto defender Ricardo Carvalho. The public taunts from Da Costa have not gone down well at the Santiago Bernabeu and Perez intends to do all he can to make sure Seitardis turns his back on the Portuguese and joins Real this summer.
