Real Madrid president won't rule out Capello staying on

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon refused to rule out coach Fabio Capello continuing next season after Saturday's victory over Valencia.

Defeat by Barcelona last night at Villarreal has left Real just two points away and Calderon said: "He has two years left on his contract. We will see what happens at the end of the season. Like in companies, at the end of the season we will make our assessments and then we will decide."

"Ever since he arrived, we have heard whistles in the stadium, which is not normal. Now things are changing."

"The easy thing would have been to dismiss Capello, but it was not the most sensible option."
