Real Madrid president will have final say on Spurs target Morientes

Real Madrid insist they have not received any official approach for striker Fernando Morientes.

Tottenham and AS Roma have both expressed interest in the centre-forward, but sources inside Real told Marca today that the club has not been in contact with any interested parties.

Though Morientes' agent says the player will not be moving in January, the final decision will be with Real president Florentino Perez.

With the club deciding against loaning Javier Portillo this month, Morientes' future is again being linked with a move out of the Santiago Bernabeu during January.
