Real Madrid president wants Man Utd star Giggs

Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs is being considered by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
 
Perez is anxious to find a left-sided winger before the new season starts and is ready to ask United about including 32 year-old Giggs in a swap for striker Michael Owen.

The Welshman signed a new contract through to 2008 earlier this year, but told Radio Marca last season that "it would be a dream come true to wear the white shirt of Real Madrid".

Perez has discussed Giggs with general manager Arrigo Sacchi and coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo and is sure to ask for the winger should United make concrete their interest in striker Owen.
