Real Madrid president wants Arsenal's Reyes, Robinho deals done

Real Madrid are stepping up their interest in Arsenal striker Jose Antonio Reyes.

Real are in crisis mode after this week's Champions League elimination and president Florentino Perez has called on his technical team, vice-president Emilio Butragueno and general manager Arrigo Sacchi, to map out a way forward for the Spanish giants.

Reyes is a priority signing for Perez, along with Santos winger Robinho.

Brazilian international Robinho's deal is all but agreed, while Reyes has expressed a desire to return to Spain and an ambition to play for Real.

Perez is ready to meet Reyes' hopes and is preparing to open negotiations with Arsenal about the Spanish international's return.
