Real Madrid president wants AC Milan coach Ancelotti

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is being linked with Real Madrid.

Real are in crisis mode after this week's Champions League elimination by Juventus and the reaction of fans and local press to another poor campaign.

President Florentino Perez held crunch talks with his Italian GM Arrigo Sacchi on Thursday and it was agreed everything possible must be done to lure Ancelotti to Spain.

The Italian's name was mentioned as a possible candidate for Vanderlei Luxemburgo's job last month, but while flattered, Ancelotti insisted, "... I am very happy in Milan. It is the greatest club in the world and there is no reason why I would want to leave."
