Real Madrid president set to clinch Hierro return

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez hopes to clinch a deal for Fernando Hierro's return during the Spanish Liga recess.

Perez will hand Hierro the responsibility of players' manager, which will see the former Real captain keeping all players happy amongst eachother and also management.

"Fernando maintains an important moral authority with many of the present components of this group. With Raul, our captain, he has a perfect relationship and surely his presence will help to maintain the commitment level," said Perez.
