Real Madrid president: Raul is priceless

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has revealed Raul offered to leave the club after last Sunday's humiliation at Getafe.
 
Raul was outstanding for Real in Sunday's 2-0 defeat of Barcelona and Calderon said: "Raul is a player who excites me. A player who does not have a price. In minute 92 he was in the corner pressing his opponent."

"He scored an exceptional goal, he motivates others ? Capello told me that he gives everything. After the one in Getafe, he told me in Bucharest that he was suffering a lot, that he had not slept and that if that performance happened again he'd leave - and release the club from paying his long contract."
