Real Madrid president Perez: No-one will be sold

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has assured his players that he won't be looking to sell anyone at the end of this season.

Perez held a meeting with Real's playing squad earlier this week and AS says he informed them: "There will be no overhaul of the squad."

"No-one will be sold or made a scapegoat."

Perez also told the squad that "it is true we will bring new players in, but they will be added to improve the team. They won't come as replacements".

Interestingly, it is also reported that Perez declared he wouldn't give Luis Figo a free transfer at the end of the season, insisting the Portuguese see out the final year of his contract.
