Real Madrid president Perez: I support our juniors

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists he is a great supporter of the club's youth system.
 
Barcelona ace Samuel Eto'o criticised Perez after last month's victory at the Santiago Bernabeu, claiming he was never given a chance by Real Madrid because of their transfer policy.

But Perez insisted: "I came here in July 2000 and Eto'o was playing at Mallorca and he did not want to come back."

"We had with him a rough agreement. We decided on the best centre-forward of the world, Ronaldo."

"I am fighting so that players graduate from the juniors. Of the 21 in the first team, eight are locals."
