Real Madrid president not bothered by Chelsea cash

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists the club has made fullback Michel Salgado an excellent contract offer.

"We have attacked this problems with great enthusiasm and made him an excellent offer," confirmed Perez. "If he doesn't sign, it will not be for the want of trying on our part."

He added, "I have ordered that we re-sign Raul, Salgado and Guti by October 30 and if we can't find an agreement then talks will be suspended until May."

Perez also insists the money of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich does not concern him.

"Abramovich does not worry to me at all," he said. "The players who have come to Real Madrid have done so because they wanted to - even if many of them lose money in the process."
