Real Madrid president keeps open Totti option

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has declared he is still interested in AS Roma captain Francesco Totti.

Quizzed about Totti's ban at the Euros for spitting, Perez told AS: "The door hasn't closed on Totti because of that incident.

"It was an isolated incident and something out of character from the player."

"For the future, I can't predict it, but he is one of the great players in the world and any club in the world would want to sign him."
