Real Madrid president Florentino says deal NOT close for Man Utd target Ronaldo

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez admits they're not close to securing Cristiano Ronaldo to a new contract.

Ronaldo continues to be linked with a return to Manchester United.

Asked if Ronaldo was very close to signing a new deal, Perez said: "No. We are all convinced he will finish his sporting career at Real Madrid."

"I think by the end of summer we will try to resolve this matter."
