Real Madrid president faces battle to convince Del Bosque

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon faces major hurdles if he wants to bring Vicente del Bosque back to the club.

After last night's humiliation at home by Levante was greeted by the mass waving of white handkerchiefs, Calderon is expected to demand the resignation of coach Fabio Capello.

DiarioSport says the Real supremo knows he must cool rising supporter anger and has made the return of Del Bosque a priority.

However, the former Real coach still hasn't forgiven Calderon over the role he played in his dismissal by former president Florentino Perez.

During a scheduled board meeting today, it's expected directors will raise Capello's confused transfer policy, particularly the sale of Ronaldo and isolation of Antonio Cassano, with Ruud van Nistelrooy now their only recognised experienced striker.
