Real Madrid president delighted with Adriano comments

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is privately delighted at the comments made by Inter Milan star Adriano this week.

The Brazil international striker has declared he wants to join Real Madrid and admitted he's flattered that Perez had been keeping tabs on his form this season.

The Real supremo didn't comment publicly on Adriano's decision to make public his ambition, but privately is delighted with the Brazilian's words - "though Inter will surely ask more for him" - admitted a close friend of Perez to AS.

Inter directors are furious with Adriano's comments and president Giacinto Facchetti declared: "Adriano will not leave us. He will be here for ten years."

"We're tired of these stories always coming from Spain."
