Real Madrid president delighted for Cannavaro

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon says Fabio Cannavaro is a deserving winner of this year's Ballon d'Or.

He said: "He's a great person and a very likeable man," he smiled. "I've only known him three months but he shows such optimism and enthusiasm."

"We have to thank him for coming to Real Madrid."
