Real Madrid president Calderon: We're happy with Schuster

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has handed coach Bernd Schuster a vote of confidence after last week's Champions League dumping by Roma.

Schuster's team managed to bounce back on Saturday with a scratchy win against Espanyol and Calderon said: "Yes he will continue, no doubt. It does not depend on the League, it depends on us and we believe in him, in his working method and philosophy."

"To become coach of Real Madrid one has to have been a great player, a former player of the club and he knows very well the mentality of the big players."

"Here we like attacking football, a lot of touches, a lot of possession and that is what is being implemented."

"We are two months away from the end of the season, we are eight points ahead of Barca and we cannot speak of failure."
