Real Madrid president Calderon wants Valencia's Villa

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon is ready to launch a mega bid for Valencia striker David Villa.

Marca says Calderon's bid for Villa is part of long-term plans to attract more top Spanish talent to Real and he is willing to triple the Valencia striker's wages to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu next season.

Valencia, however, will be in no rush to sell with Villa's contract carrying a £100 million buyout clause.
