Real Madrid president Calderon: This squad strong enough

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon insists coach Bernd Schuster's squad doesn't need major surgery.

"This squad is very complete, very professional, we have a lot of talent and have won two consecutive Ligas. Therefore, we must trust them," said Calderon.

"What's happened is that we have lost five players on a consistent basis. Like Ruben De la Red, Diarra, Robben, Van Nistelrooy and Higuain. You remove these five players from any club in the world and watch the outcome."

On Schuster, he added: "Never doubted Schuster and I say the truth. I hope he will be at the helm of the club for a long time."
