Real Madrid president Calderon hints end of Benzema pursuit

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon is coy over their interest in Olympique Lyon star Karim Benzema.

Their capture of Ajax ace Klaas Jan Huntelaar may have shut the door on any future move for the France international.

However, Calderon says: "I do not know if the interest is still there, but it is clear that for now it would be impossible. We should bring in a player who can participate in the Champions League, who is young and we can develop for the future."
