Real Madrid president: All is not lost

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez dismissed claims last night that Saturday's defeat at Barcelona had decided the championship.

"Nothing has been decided other than three points have been lost to Barcelona," Perez told AS. "We have already discussed things and are confident of bouncing back."

"It is only round 12 of 38. What needs to be done hasn't been lost on us. We must win our homes games and draw our away games. At the moment we are well placed on the table, if we win an away game then all these so-called problems will be forgotten."
